Hancher Bringing in Some Big Names This Season

The upcoming season from the Hancher Auditorium is going to be another great one.  We were lucky to get their Marketing Director, Rob Cline, to stop by our studios and talk about it. Even more exciting, he stopped in the day after they launched their new website.

Hancher is at an exciting time as the new building is going up.  But while they still wait for their new permanent home, they still are placing shows all over Iowa City and Cedar Rapids for us all to enjoy.  Some of these include Hawkeye Alum Al Jarreau's appearance at Iowa City Soul Fest, Ira Glass and "Three Acts, Two Dancers, One Radio Host" at the Englert, Singer and Eastern Iowa Native Susan Werner's intimate shows at The Mill, and Roberta Flack at Riverside, among many others.
