’90s R & B Icons Coming To Cedar Rapids

For those of us who went to high school in the '90s, this could be the biggest show the McGrath Amphitheatre has booked yet for 2017.

Boyz II Men and En Vogue team up to bring the soul and strut to Cedar Rapids on Wednesday, August 30. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert gets underway at 7:30.

Who can forget Boyz II Men's groovy beats on "Motownphilly" and their smooth renditions of "I'll Make Love To You" and "On Bended Knee"? We loved En Vogue's thought-provoking and seductive singles "Free Your Mind", "My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It") and so many others. These songs and more will make it a memorable night of party tunes and pop ballads.

Pre-sale through Ticketmaster begins next Thursday, June 22 at 10 a.m. with tickets going on sale to the general public Friday, June 23 at 10 a.m.

General admission lawn seating (limited view) is $29.50; reserved seating is $49.50, $59.50 and $85.
