A few months ago, we told you about a new restaurant coming to 621 Center Point Rd NE in Cedar Rapids called Raging Ryno's. The eatery is located inside the same building as the bar and restaurant North Point, leading some folks to believe that North Point is closing. Fortunately, that is not the case. North Point will remain in the back half of the building and maintain the outdoor patio, while Raging Ryno's will take over the front portion of the building.

The menu at Raging Ryno's will feature over 15 different kinds of sliders, which customers will be able to mix-and-match. The restaurant hasn't posted an official menu yet, but photos on the Facebook page show one topped with mac & cheese, one made up of fried chicken and gravy, one that looks rueben-inspired, and another called the Sugar Teet Slider, which is topped with peach jam, gouda cheese, and a balsamic glaze. If you ask me, they all look DELICIOUS.

In addition to the sliders, we reported back in April that Raging Ryno's was also planning to offer an all-day small breakfast and eggs benedict menu, as well as a "good-sized mule menu" with a special mule night.

Raging Ryno's, named after Chef Ryno Bly, will be open this Friday and Saturday (July 28th & 29th) from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. to begin "stress testing" their kitchen. The eatery's regular hours are not posted yet, but you can get the latest updates by following Raging Ryno's Facebook page HERE.
