My wife and I recently attended a fabulous movie over at the Collins Road Theaters. A blog from CRT owner Bruce about a great British film caught my attention. He explained that this little-known flick about time travel would make you laugh and cry. I did both. Multiple times. In fact, I was a wreck by the end.

At first, I thought About Time would just be a GroundHog's Day clone. The character building by director/writer Richard Curtis takes you beyond the theme of time travel and viewers become enthralled with the story line and relationships.

Maybe it was low expectations coming in. Maybe it was the lack of superstar actors. Whatever it was, I was pleasantly surprised and give it an "A." Domhall Gleeson and Rachel McAdams star as the couple in this "RomCom" and Bill Nighy is the father/father-in-law.

Good writing wins everytime....
