The music festival formerly known as the Guthrie River Ruckus made news earlier this year, announcing that after 15 years, the music festival would be moving to a new location. Adventureland Theme Park in Altoona, Iowa. Fans wondered what kind of acts the event would attract. Wonder no more! The first headlining acts have been revealed!

The Ruckus will be held in a large area just to the west of Adventureland Theme Park. Organizers hope that the added parking and lodging options make fans want to attend. The music lineup will also be of interest. The Ruckus revealed the first headling acts for 2024!

On Saturday, June 8th, The Ruckus will welcome country star Jake Owen to the stage! Joining Jake will be Lauren Alaina and newcomer Drew Green.

According to its Facebook page, The Ruckus plans on announcing two more mainstage acts later this month! Four more artists will also play the Adventureland stage in the theme park. Two-day tickets are on sale now and can be purchased HERE. Single-day passes will go on sale in May. Remember, when you buy tickets to The Ruckus, that also gets you admission into Adventureland Theme Park and Adventure Bay Water Park!

It appears the move from Guthrie Center to Altoona is paying off. The Ruckus sounds like it will be one heck of a party!
