[UPDATE 4/10 8:50 AM] The Cedar Rapids Police Department reports that Jack Ritchie has returned home, and is safe.

The Cedar Rapids Police Department has issued an Operation Quickfind for 12-year-old Jack Ritchie, who was last seen around 9 p.m. Monday (April 9).

Jack was last seen Monday evening in the 1300 block of 18th Ave. S.W. and, according to the release, could be with "an older girl in an unknown car." When he went missing Monday night, Jack was wearing a tie-dye sweatshirt, black boots, and khaki pants.

Jack is described as 5-feet 7-inches tall and weighs 93 pounds. He is on medication for a behavioral medical condition and may be combative with law enforcement. If you see Jack or have any information, please contact the Cedar Rapids Police Department at (319) 286-5491.
