Ryan Murphy’s first attempts at using Instagram to tease American Horror Story Season 7 were … well, horrifying, but the latest is more mystery than malevolence. Who’s feeling blue in the election-themed return of American Horror Story this fall?

Where previously Murphy shared some sort of elephant monster (or mask) likely to terrorize the cast this year, the second look at American Horror Story Season 7 feels a bit more subdued. A bit blue, to be exact, as one character’s dyed hair appears to have some relevance to the season overall:

Murphy also recently announced that Popular alum Leslie Grossman had joined the Season 7 cast, but we’d venture to guess that the above figure isn’t her. Seems a little broad-shouldered for Sarah Paulson (and clearly isn’t wearing one of Billy Eichner’s “mysterious tank tops,” so perhaps the returning Evan Peters?

Or … might Murphy be telling us the title of Season 7 is actually American Horror Story: Red, while the clue itself is white and blue? Red would certainly fit the Republican theme, and is otherwise missing from the photo.

Elsewhere of Season 7, Carrie Fisher’s daughter Billie Lourd has also joined in a mysterious role. Season 7 might also feature the return of several characters from American Horror Story: Freak Show, while a separate upcoming season was said to bring together Murder House and Coven characters.

Season 7 will likely offer more concrete clues soon, but who blue American Horror Story?
