Gun Shot Wound Sends Cedar Rapids Man To Hospital

Cedar Rapids Police were called to St. Luke's Hospital last night after a man was treated for a gunshot wound. Officers arrived at the hospital on Wednesday around 10:50 p.m.

The police report said the man walked into the ER for treatment of a gunshot wound. The victim underwent a number of tests and it looks like the wound is not reported to be life-threatening. The man's name was not released.

Cedar Rapids Police have opened an investigation and more details will be released at a later date. We will continue to monitor this story and provide updates as soon as we learn more information.
