The weeks following the release of Ariana Grande's fourth studio album, Sweetener, didn't exactly deliver the aggressive promotional cycle new albums typically receive.

From her high-profile breakup with ex-fiance Pete Davidson to the death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, it's been a tumultuous time for the singer, who released her record back on August 17 and understandably took a break to focus on her mental health not too long after.

And while it seemed for a while that a tour in support of the album would be, at best, far in the future—possibly even in promotion of both Sweetener and a forthcoming fifth album, which is already in the works—Grande admitted recently that she was both ready and needed to tour. (Back in September, Grande responded to a fan asking about tour dates on Twitter, telling them that she would not be touring for a "loooooooooooooong time.")

On Thursday (October 25), the artist dropped the initial round of her Sweetener tour dates on social media.
