Dan Aykroyd Wants ‘Ghostbusters’ to Be Like the Marvel Cinematic Universe
Ever since the Marvel Cinematic Universe became a huge success, there were immediate imitators trying to follow that same model. From the 'Justice League' films to 'Amazing Spider-Man' and, heck, even the upcoming 'Star Wars' movies. It all seemed a bit much, to be honest. But, this latest news might take the cake (or donut?) when it comes to biting style. Dan Aykroyd, the only one involved with the original 'Ghostbusters' who seems to want to have anything to do with the new 'Ghostbusters' says he wants to relaunch the franchise following the Marvel "shared universe" strategy.

Details on the Secret Role Andy Serkis Will Play in ‘Avengers 2′
We've known for some time that Andy Serkis, mo-cap actor extraordinaire, was playing a consulting role on 'Avengers 2,' assisting both Mark Ruffalo and James Spader with their work on Hulk and Ultron, respectively. Recently there were some rumblings, however, that Serkis himself had a part in the film.
Will the ‘Star Wars: Episode 7′ Release Date Be Delayed Because of Harrison Ford’s Broken Leg?
Now, comes word that the 'Star Wars: Episode 7' production team convened early this morning to discuss the nature of Ford's injury and how it will impact the shooting schedule. The early word from those meetings was that 'Star Wars: Episode 7' "could be pushed back by a substantial amount of time."
Phil Lord and Chris Miller on Why They Turned Down ‘Ghostbusters 3′
When it was announced that Ivan Reitman was stepping down as the 'Ghostbusters 3' director, many fans (including us) immediately thought of Phil Lord and Chris Miller ('The LEGO Movie') as the ideal replacements. Sure enough, an offer went out to the directing duo almost immediately, but just as quickly as they were offered, they passed on the project...
J.J. Abrams From the ‘Star Wars: Episode 7′ Set: “I Wish People Would Stop Leaking Photos”
This week has seen over 50 images leak from the 'Star Wars: Episode 7' set showing off new creatures, the Tatooine set and confirming the existence of the Millennium Falcom.
