Bacon Pairs Nicely With Bourbon Apparently [VIDEO]

Did you know bacon pairs nicely with bourbon?  We didn't either till we heard about the Bacon and Bourbon cooking class held just the other night at the Kirkwood Culinary Cooking School inside NewBo City Market.  Daniel, one of the top chefs at LionBridge is the instructor for a bunch of the classes held there, which you can find out more about here. And last night, it was all about combining Bacon and Bourbon.  As we get ready for Saturday's BaconFest, also conveniently at NewBo City Market, we couldn't pass this class up. Have you ever tried Bacon Bourbon and Stout Jam, Bacon Bourbon brownies, or a Maple Bourbon glazed bacon?  Hopefully they'll offer the class again.

While at this point we haven't seen any Bacon/Bourbon combos on the BaconFest menu, we know there's plenty more delicious bacon eats.  Have you picked up your tickets yet?  Don't forget, the price goes up Saturday, so get them now.
