Bark in the Park this Sunday (6/1) with the Cedar Rapids Kernels

Not only is Sunday another KDAT "Run the Bases" Sunday with the KERNELS this Sunday (6/1) is also "Bark in the Park" Details below:

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – May 21, 2014 – It’s Bark in the Park game time at Veterans Memorial Stadium, and again this year, the Cedar Rapids Kernels invite you to bring your dog to the stadium for some fun in the sun on Sunday, June 1st.  Gates open at 1:00 p.m. with a Doggie Parade beginning at 1:30 p.m. (weather permitting).

Tickets are $7 for humans and $7 for dogs.  Dogs (and their owners) will be seated in the Lawn Seating area of the stadium.  All proceeds from the dog tickets will benefit the Friends Helping Friends Foundation of Cedar Rapids to help the homeless animals at the Cedar Rapids Animal Care & Control Center.  And the Cedar valley Humane Society.  What a great way to enjoy a Sunday afternoon with your furry companion at the ball park cheering on the Kernels and helping animals at the same time.

All owners and their dogs must enter through the main gate and the owners must complete an information sheet and sign a release waiver prior to admission.  Only one dog per human please.
