Ricky Gervais hosted the Golden Globes last Sunday (January 10), but there was one person who definitely didn't find the British comedian funny: Caitlyn Jenner.

Jenner is reportedly less than amused by a joke Gervais made at her expense early on in the evening, where a reference was made to Jenner's February 2015 car accident in which a person was killed. Jenner was not charged with vehicular manslaughter in the case, but the tragic fatal accident and its aftermath in the media was of great controversy.

During his opening monologue at the Globes, Gervais had this to say: "I've changed. Not as much as Bruce Jenner, obviously. Now Caitlyn Jenner, of course. What a year she's had! She became a role model for trans people everywhere, showing great bravery in breaking down barriers and destroying stereotypes... She didn't do a lot for women drivers. But you can't have everything, can you?"

According to reports, Jenner responded officially to Gervais' comments during a press conference on Thursday (January 14) in promotion of the second season of I Am Cait, where she told reporters, "On Ricky, I think what I’m gonna do is call the Golden Globes and see if they need a new host for next year. And we’ll solve that problem."

In addition to throwing her hat into the ring for 2017 Golden Globes hosting duties, Jenner also premiered the first promo for season 2 of I Am Cait during the press junket. Watch below:

After Jenner's comments on Thursday, Gervais—in true Ricky Gervais form—had this to say on his Facebook page:

At last. She always brakes too late.
