Cedar Rapids Police and the Linn County Sheriff's Department were called to the scene of a bank robbery that took place early Wednesday afternoon.

The Gazette reports the robbery happened just before 1 p.m. at the Wells Fargo branch at 3570 First Ave. NE. The robber demanded money from a teller and got away with an unknown amount.

The suspect was reportedly unarmed and no one was hurt, according to authorities. Bank surveillance footage is being viewed to determine more information, and more details will be released as they are available.
