Two Cedar Rapids Splash Pads Already Closed As Summer Kicks Off

Just as summer is getting started, the city has already announced that two area splash pads have closed. Unfortunately for one, a re-open date is unknown.

In just the first few days of June, we have already learned from the Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation Department that the Noelridge and Twin Pines splash pads in Cedar Rapids are closed for maintenance repairs. For the win Pines splash pad, luckily, they are waiting for parts and believe the repairs will take up to two weeks. However, for the Noelridge splash pad, the reopen date is unknown at this time.
