With just one more day until the NewBo Music Festival presented by The National, we're making one final push to get you there. Young The Giant and Allen Stone are headlining what's going to be a huge event in Cedar Rapids in front of NewBo City market that you definitely won't want to miss. If you've already made your plans to join us, check the FAQ for details you might need to know. If not, you still can still get tickets for the show! Ticket prices will increase on Saturday so get online and get them now to save a few bucks.

With seven awesome acts, it's going to be one of the biggest events of the summer -- which, by the way, is it me or is it going waaay too fast?  While summer officially lasts until September 22, let's face it, a lot of us acknowledge the beginning of the school year (even if we don't have kids), football season, or Labor Day weekend as the end of summer. No matter how much fun you cram into these three months, it never feels like enough.

My challenge to you is to make the best of the rest of summer. Besides the NewBo Music Festival presented by The National, there's still the Downtown Farmers' Markets every other Saturday through September 19, a couple more Uptown Friday Nights at the McGrath Amphitheatre, and a few more installments of the Collins Road Theatre's Free Kids Movie Series. Check our events calendar for more of what's going on.
