If you've been to Chicago, at some point or another, someone may have recommended a diner called Ed Debevic's.  Since the mid 80's, it has been a staple destination for great food and service without a smile.  Yes, WITHOUT a smile.  They are all about rude service.  The wild concept took off, and has become quite a tourist destination. Many stars have visited the place, and rumor is David Schwimmer even worked there at one point. Of course, some people just didn't quite understand. As such, a video of an interaction with one of the waitresses went viral late last year, and it just crossed my feed this morning.

When I saw it, the comment of "rudest waitress ever" caught my attention, till I started watching and knew exactly where this was. But as I read the other response comments, I found out something else incredibly startling... the restaurant is no longer.  They closed last October. That's right, if you've ever been told about a restaurant in Chicago where the gimmick is rude service, you will no longer be able to experience it.  Apparently they lost the lease to make way for apartments.  Bummer.  I'm honestly a bit heartbroken.

There is some good news, as the restaurant remains optimistic that a new location is coming sometime this year. However, no further information has been announced yet, other than it will be located in the city.
