When Sally Deeb discovered her restaurant, Sally's on Broadway, had been robbed she was upset. But when she discovered that the criminals had stolen $1,000 from the fund honoring a young boy who had passed away from cancer, that feeling turned to anger.

Austin Smith, a 6-year old who along with his family frequented Sally's, lost his battle with cancer last May. His parents set up the Austin Strong Foundation to help fund research into pediatric cancer. Customers at Sally's often make donations when they dine there. After the story broke about the robbery and the theft of Austin Strong funds, the public responded in a huge way! Sally joined us this morning and gave us an amazing update!

You can still make a donation to the Austin Strong Foundation by stopping by Sally's on Broadway in Springville, or by stopping by the foundation's web page HERE.
