Coralville Man Reunited With Parrot

Marin Fussell a Coralville resident has a unique feathered friend that hangs out in his back yard. Flying from tree to tree, Marin never saw the need to limit Sunnybird from flight by clipping his wings, but last week Sunnybird was nowhere to be found.

Heartbroken Marin drove all over town searching for Sunnybird when he received a message on Facebook notifying him that his parrot may have been found at the Iowa City Animal Care and Adoption Center. As soon as the center opened at 10:30 a.m., Marin headed over to reunite with his feathered buddy. Fussell said Sunnybird gave him kisses and sang to him when they reunited.
