Just in time for the movie that comes out next month!

When I was a kid, my favorite thing to do in the world was read. I would read my favorite books over and over and over, and when I got to high school, I would swap books with a group of my friends. As an adult, sometimes I find it difficult to make time to read, but whenever I start a good new book I think to myself, "why don't I do this more often?!"

Friday night I stopped at the mall and picked up a book that I've been hearing a lot of good things about: "The Girl on the Train" by Paula Hawkins. It's actually been made into a movie that will be released on October 7th. I won't watch a movie that's based on a book without reading the book first, so Saturday night I started reading. I was up into the wee hours of the morning, because it was so good I couldn't put it down. When I woke up Sunday morning, I immediately picked it back up and didn't stop until I was done. I got absolutely nothing done on Sunday, but the book was so entertaining that I didn't even care. It reminded me a lot of "Gone Girl," so if you like thriller/mystery stories, you should definitely give this a read. I actually kept flipping to the end of the book and reading little excerpts because I couldn't wait to find out what would happen.

Here's the trailer for the movie that comes out next month:
