Courtlin’s Dog Isn’t the Brightest Crayon in the Box [VIDEO]

But he's cute, so at least he has that going for him...

One of the best parts of going home to Michigan is visiting my dog Charles. My apartment here in Iowa doesn't allow dogs, so he lives at my mom's house with her dog Petey. I spent a ton of time with him while I was home, which means he had plenty of time to drive me absolutely crazy. It's ok, though, because I love him so stinkin' much.

Charlie can sit, he can lay down, and he can give you a "handshake," but one thing he CAN'T do is properly play fetch. He has no problem running after a ball and bringing it back, the issue is dropping the ball. I've tried explaining to him that I can't throw the ball if he doesn't let go of it, but he doesn't listen to reason. He places the ball in my hand, but just doesn't let go. If you have any advice on how to make him drop the ball, it would be greatly appreciated. In the meantime, here's a series of videos of him that I think are adorable and hilarious:
