It's coming back! The historic Dance-Mor Ballroom, which closed after 82 years in business, has been sold and will be reopening.

Dance-Mor first opened its doors in 1932 but closed in the spring of 2014, when owner Craig Davis decided to retire. Davis had run the Swisher business since 1974 after the building's original owners ran it for 42 years.

Last fall, Davis told me he had a local buyer who had plans to reopen the famous venue. Sometimes, these things take a while. However, the paperwork is now signed!

Craig has sold the business to Nick and Rebekah Neuendorf, who already own a business in the small Johnson County town. The Neuendorf's, and Davis joined Brain and Courtlin this morning to discuss their plans:

Dance-Mor Ballroom is coming back! Definitely exciting news for people who love live music, the opportunity to dance, and history. Dance-Mor has ALL of that, and we can't wait 'til the doors open again.
