The inimitable Dolly Parton was honored with the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at the 50th Annual Country Music Association's Awards Show on November 2 in Nashville, Tennessee.

To celebrate the iconic country star's well-deserved (and overdue!) win, fellow country music women Reba McEntire, Kacey Musgraves, Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride and Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles joined forces to sing some of Parton's most beloved career-spanning hits.

After Parton's 9 to 5 co-star Lily Tomlin delivered a heartfelt introduction, Nettles kicked off the joyful tribute with a modernized version of "Jolene," with an assist from a cappella YouTube stars Pentatonix.

McEntire then performed an upbeat rendition of Parton's '80s working girl anthem "9 to 5," before Musgraves sweetly sang "Here You Come Again."

Joined by Underwood and McBride, the leading ladies of country music concluded with a touching rendition of Parton's legendary 1974 hit, "I Will Always Love You."

"Gosh dang it, Dolly, we love you to pieces," McEntire exclaimed following the performance, speaking to a visibly moved Parton.

Afterwards, the music icon appeared onstage to accept the honor, joking (and alluding to Nelson's famous affinity for smoking marijuana), "This is an absolute high for me!"

"I really am very proud to receive this," she added.

Parton has won a total of nine CMA awards, but something tells us this one will be her most memorable.
