If you've found yourself feeling extremely cold lately, that makes perfect sense with the frigid temperatures and snow we've had. But as you exit the cold and enter your warm home this afternoon or evening, just remember you have a warm home to go to. Imagine what it's like for those who don't.

If you have old, gently used winter gear cluttering up your closets from hats, gloves, mittens and scarves or even coats, you can help those people who need it by donating to the Cedar Rapids Public Library's winter clothing drive.

Feel free to deliver your items to the downtown Cedar Rapids branch at 450 5th Ave. SE. They are open from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 9-5 on Friday and Saturday, and closed on Sunday. They will take items for all ages and genders and have been able to provide over 50 people with these items so far this winter.

Learn more from CBS2 and help your fellow Cedar Rapidians keep warm this winter.
