A Clinton man is facing a plethora of charges and has admitted to some of the unspeakable things he's accused of.

44-year-old Timothy C. Geerts of Clinton has been charged with 121 different counts of invasion of privacy, each an aggravated misdemeanor. He also faces 39 Class C felony charges of third-degree sexual abuse, seven more Class C felonies for sexual exploitation of a minor, and one Class B felony for second-degree sexual abuse. All the evidence was found on his cell phone after his former girlfriend made an awful discovery.

According to a court affidavit obtained by the Clinton Herald, a woman who had lived with Geerts until about mid-December went to Clinton Police on December 27. She told them she had found unauthorized videos and photos of herself fully and partially nude on an SD card in Geerts' phone before she moved out.

The woman gave the SD card to authorities who applied for, and were granted, a search warrant to search its contents. According to a court affidavit, a Clinton Police officer said there were more than 100 photos and videos that were sexual, including one sex act between Geerts and a pre-teen girl in the living room of the home. There were also seven videos of prohibited sex acts between minors.

Some of the photos and videos appeared to have been taken from inside the toilet, while 39 videos showed Geerts involved in sex acts with the woman who had gone to the police. After his arrest, Geerts waived his Miranda Rights. The Clinton Herald reports Geerts told authorities when he was arrested that he "would have sexual intercourse with the female when she was (physically) incapacitated by drugs and prescription medication."

Geerts is being held on a $10,000 cash-only bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for the morning of January 11.
