Foreigner

With 10 multi-platinum albums and 16 top-thirty hits, Foreigner is universally hailed as one of the most popular rock acts in the world with a formidable musical arsenal that continues to propel sold-out tours and album sales, now exceeding 75 million. Responsible for some of the most enduring rock anthems including “Juke Box Hero,” “Feels Like the First Time,” “Head Games,” “Long, Long Way from Home” and the worldwide number-one hit, “I Want to Know What Love Is,” Foreigner continues to rock the charts.

The 1976 release of their self-titled debut album propelled the group into early fame with hard-hitting tunes like “Hot Blooded,” “Cold as Ice” and “Urgent.” More hits followed like “Waiting for a Girl like You” and “Double Vision.” The band went on to produce nine more studio albums, three live albums and 15 compilations.

Foreigner is currently celebrating the release of their 2014 compilation album, I Want to Know What Love Is: The Ballads, which includes top-ten favorites like “Say You Will” and “I Don’t Want to Live Without You” as well as a bonus disc featuring a previously unreleased acoustic performance of their greatest hits.

Styx

With two Super Bowl appearances, a record-breaking four consecutive triple platinum albums and hits like “Come Sail Away,” “The Best of Times” and “Show Me the Way,” Styx has firmly established its legacy as a hard-hitting and powerful force of classic rock.

Spawned from a suburban Chicago basement in the early 70s, Styx transformed the face of rock music and epitomized a generation of music lovers fueled by soaring power ballads and high-energy performances. The band’s 1974 breakthrough single, “Lady,” climbed to number six and resulted in the band’s first gold-certified album. Empowered by their initial success, the group continued to produce an arsenal of iconic rock anthems including “Too Much Time on My Hands,” “Mr. Roboto,” “Fooling Yourself” and their 1979 number-one, gold-certified single, “Babe.”

To date, the group has produced 14 studio albums, eight live albums and 16 compilation albums including the double-platinum 1995 release of Styx Greatest Hits. Their iconic mix of electric melodies and punchy lyrics has made Styx one of the most prolific rock bands of the last four decades.
