Together, Broadway legends Rodgers & Hammerstein helped bring emotional music and meaningful lyrics to the musicals that lined The Great White Way. South Pacific, The Sound of Music, The King and I, Oklahoma! and Carousel helped define a new era in the American theater experience. Now, Orchestra Iowa is joined by Theatre Cedar Rapids to perform the beloved music of these Broadway treasures – including classic hits such as “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,” “There is Nothing Like a Dame,” “Surrey With the Fringe on Top,” “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” “Shall We Dance?,” and many more!
