Beat your cabin fever and winter blues and help us celebrate “Oscar” and the Academy Awards!
The Main Event, Czech Village/New Bohemia Main Street District’s annual fundraiser, will be held Saturday, February 26, 2016, from 6-9 pm at the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library, 1400 Inspiration Place SW.
Come dressed as your favorite movie star and walk the red carpet, as you get your photo taken by the paparazzi.
Admission is only $35 and includes hors d'oeuvres, your first cocktail of the night, film clips, and live music by the Leviathan Quintet. You will also get the chance to watch film clips of nominated movies, watch a fashion show by Iowa Fashion Project, and win fabulous prizes!
By inviting your entire crew, you can reserve a table for 10 and save $50.
Your participation in this signature fundraiser helps support the ongoing revitalization of the Czech Village/New Bohemia Main Street District.
