I want to start by saying that I am so proud to live in Eastern Iowa. Seeing everyone come together for the greater good has been absolutely incredible. As destructive and scary as nature can sometimes be, I think that we as a community have proved that we will not let it win. THANK YOU. Thank you to every single person that helped somebody move belongings out of their home, or sandbagged, or delivered food and water to sandbaggers, or took in pets, or volunteered at a shelter, etc. YOU are what makes this community great.
