As first reported at CinemaCon back in April of last year, Universal's beloved Fast and Furious franchise is expanding with an eighth edition this spring. And now, it's officially got a title: The Fate of the Furious.

The film — out on April 14, 2017 — was directed by F. Gary Gray, and features all the staple players of the series according to THR, including Vin Diesel, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez and Ludacris, plus the addition of Scott Eastwood and Charlize Theron. Fate of the Furious will mark the franchise’s first movie filmed since the death of Paul Walker in 2013.

“I swear to you and to my brother upstairs [Walker], we are going to make the best movie you’ve ever seen," Vin Diesel pledged at last year's CinemaCon.
