Fish-O-Rama is This Weekend at Robbins Lake

It's here! The 13th Annual Boys and Girls Club of Cedar Rapids Fish-O-Rama is this weekend at Robbins Lake at Ellis Park. Not signed up yet? No problem... you can still register.

Fish-O-Rama is a great way to teach your kids or grandkids the nuances of fishing, with a little extra motivation... some fantastic prizes! Enter with a "bonus registration" for $25 and you could win bicycles, TV's, an x-box and other electronics, tablets, gift cards, fishing poles... or even a 2015 Toyota Tundra, courtesy of Cedar Rapids Toyota. Please note, you must be at least 18 to win the truck.

The basic registration is only $10 and still lets you compete for a variety of small prizes. Everyone who enters receives an event t-shirt and goodie bag.

You can register at Robbins Lake, just off Edgewood and Ellis) until 8 (Friday) tonight and at approximately 1:15 (Friday) this afternoon is when the fish tagging begins. They're expected to be released into the lake at around 2. The actual fishing happens from 7 am to 5 pm on Saturday and 7 am to 1 pm on Sunday.

KHAK's Brain and Courtlin will be on hand at the end of the competition on Sunday to hand out additional prizes. Thanks for helping us raise money for such a great organization & here's hoping you catch the fish with the Toyota Tundra tag.
