The Iowa football team has a big game Saturday night at Kinnick Stadium, but you'll definitely want to stay away. Here's why.

1)You might have to ride a real train to the stadium. You love getting places lightning fast and would only consider taking the "train" in a big city. No, you'd better stay away because you definitely wouldn't want to experience something so unique that very few college football fans in America get to do it.

2)Iowa City tailgating on game day is legendary. It's certainly not something you'd want to experience. And what if you ran into the band playing the fight song along the way?! Nah, sitting at home watching on TV is far better.

3)The AC/DC song "Back in Black" playing as the Iowa football team comes out of the tunnel and soon "swarms" the field, following the I-O-W-A flags. It will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up, and it just might make your entire body tingle with anticipation.

Saturday will be even worse. The Kinnick Stadium stands will be striped during the "Black and Gold Spirit Game." That will only heighten things even more. Yeah, that doesn't sound like it's good for you. Better stay away.

4)The new tradition that has 70,000+ Iowa fans all turn and wave to the kids at the UI Stead Family Children's Hospital at the end of the first quarter. It's the best "wave" in America, period. It makes you feel good and could even cause you to cry. Yeah, I know. Too much... way too much.

5)The game itself. Iowa has won three consecutive times inside Kinnick Stadium against teams ranked in the Top 5. Penn State is ranked #4 coming in for Saturday night's 6:42 kickoff on ABC-TV. Heck, Iowa couldn't possibly make it four in a row. Besides, if they do pull the upset, you wouldn't wanna be there anyway.

Yeah, I think you understand what I'm saying here. Iowa City is a very special place on game day. When the lights come on, the magic of Kinnick Stadium reaches an altogether different level. The electricity is in the air. If you can't feel it now, you certainly will on Saturday. Now... LET'S GO HAWKS! LET'S GO HAWKS!
