My entire life, I have absolutely hated mustard. HATED IT. I believe I have referred to it as "the devil" on several occasions. But now, I'm not so sure.

This week I bought ingredients to make BLTs, not realizing that the mayo I had at home was expired. I can't eat a BLT without some sort of sauce or dressing, so I took a look in the fridge to see if I had any sort of substitute. All I could find was a bottle of Dijon mustard that I used for a recipe once and never touched again. I decided that the mustard was better than nothing, so I put it on my sandwich and hoped for the best. I was shocked to discover that I actually liked it. A LOT. I want to put it on every sandwich I eat for the rest of my life, and now I'm questioning my entire existence.

I think that as we get a little older, our taste buds start to change. In the last year, not only have I begun to like mustard, but I also enjoy spicy foods that I never cared for before. I dip everything in Buffalo sauce, and Pepper Jack cheese is now a staple in my household. What's a food that you hated for the majority of your life, but now you just can't get enough of?
