Foreigner Craft Beer Event Coming to Cedar Rapids

KRNA is proud to welcome two members of the rock band Foreigner to Cedar Rapids for a special craft beer tasting event.

Sponsored by the Carpenters Union Local 308, the party will be held on Wednesday March 28 at 6:00 p.m. at the Parlor City Pub & Eatery, 1125 3rd St. SE in the Newbo district in downtown Cedar Rapids.

The event will be hosted by Certified Beer Servers – Foreigner keyboardist MICHAEL BLUESTEIN and guitarist BRUCE WATSON. The band members speak with authority, having completed a course as Certified Beer Servers.

After many pints and pilsners of research, they will share their knowledge with a flight of beer tastings offered by Parlor City Pub.

The evening will feature a challenge to KRNA listeners to sing a few bars of their favorite Foreigner song with Michael and Bruce accompanying them on acoustic guitars. There will be prizes, and the best performer of the night will meet Foreigner at the show the next night!
