Adele’s ‘Hello’ Gets A Response

From the first moment I heard Adele's new track "Hello", there was simply one thing on my mind: Lionel Richie.  I'm really not sure what it is that brought such an obvious connection for me.  Could it be the pause after she says "Hello"?  Or maybe it's that when it comes to a "Hello" song, it's just obvious who you're talking about (well, until now).

Obviosuly, I wasn't alone in thinking this way as someone went ahead and made the perfect mash-up.  And seriously, it's SPOT ON!  11 seconds later, short, simple, point stated.  And hysterical.
