Lou is a radio veteran with nearly 20 years at the mic. Starting as an intern at a high profile morning show in his native Chicago he left the bright, big city lights early to start his career in Iowa to help launch KCRR in Waterloo, a classic rock station, and host the morning show. He moved across town to active rocker KFMW and hosted mornings for six years, first with Mike Anthony, then with Scott Steele, with tremendous ratings success. Lou and Scott were brought in to resurrect the struggling heritage rock station KRNA in Cedar Rapids in the fall of 2004 and after two strong years there Lou moved on to host mornings at KDAT where he continues to wake up in the middle of the night to give you some news, some weather, some human interest stories, and plenty of goodies for giveaways each morning from 5:00-10:00am. Lou is married to his wife of 10 years, Denise. They have two daughters, Madelynn, 6, and Eva,3.
