Iowa Man Drives Drunk to His Interview at a Taxi Company
Something tells me they didn't hire this guy...
Ryan William Dickinson, a 39-year-old man from Des Moines, was headed to an interview at Trans Iowa, a taxi and shuttle company. When he arrived, he had some difficulty parking. Why? Well, because he was drunk.
A woman on a smoke break noticed Dickinson hit not one, but two cars while trying to maneuver into a parking space. That's when the police were called. After denying he had been drinking, he could not complete a field sobriety test and blew a .273 on his breathalyzer test. Turns out, he had actually been hospitalized for alcohol consumption earlier that evening, and drank a fifth of vodka after he was released at 8 a.m.
He arrived for his interview around 9:25 a.m.
Thankfully, nobody was hurt during the incident. And it doesn't say in the article, but I'm going to assume this guy didn't get a job as a professional driver.
