Iowans: Have You Ever Tried This Weird Food Combination?

A new viral Tweet is making the rest of the country look at us questionably.

"You ain’t from Iowa if you never had one of these." What was he talking about? Oh, I don't know... how about a Pop Tart and cheese sandwich! What?!

Des Moines Register, Chris Jorgensen was actually just experimenting when he posted this tweet. He's seen other gross food tweets before, so he tried to create one of his own. The article states,

"Jorgensen wasn't originally planning to take a bite, but he said his roommates told him he needed to if he was going to tweet about it."

I think most Iowans saw this post and knew immediately that it wasn't true, but the problem is that people from other states didn't! I actually had a friend in Michigan send me the tweet with a vomiting face emoji and I had to explain that, although I'm not FROM Iowa, I've never seen anyone eat such an abomination. Chris told the Des Moines Register, "I think I've done some damage to the state of Iowa."
