All he does is make interceptions and regrettably (for Iowa fans), Josh Jackson has decided to forego his senior season at Iowa to turn his sights on the NFL.

Jackson made the announcement today on Instagram:

Jackson, a redshirt junior, definitely appeared ready for the NFL throughout the 2017 season. Teams just quit throwing the ball his way, and rightfully so. Jackson had eight interceptions during the year, the most by any player in the nation. CBS Sports says a player from Boston College and another from Florida Atlantic each had seven.

I believe Jackson was Iowa's best player this year. You could argue for Josey Jewell on the defensive side of the ball, certainly. On the offensive side, Akrum Wadley was tremendous. Those guys also have very bright futures ahead of them and there's no doubt Iowa fans will miss them all. Thanks for the memories, Josh Jackson... especially this one against Ohio State. One of the greatest, most athletic plays I've ever seen. Good luck to you and spend that money wisely.
