Did you know that there are two Girl Scout Cookie baker companies that bake all of those delicious treats we consume every year!? That's crazy!

The LA Times reports that the Girl Scouts of America employ two different bakers: ABC Bakers and Little Brownie Bakers. These two crank out the more than 200 MILLION boxes of Girl Scout cookies for the U.S. each year, according to Wide Open Eats. Since the cookies are coming from two different bakeries, there are going to be some differences when it comes to the look, taste, and even the name. Below is a map of which bakery you're getting your cookies from depending on where you are in the country.

An example of how each brand's cookies can differ is shown below. Check out the differences in the Thin Mint cookies from each brand and how the Samoas (as I call them) have different names:

What you get all depends on where you are buying them from. As you can see, Iowa is split. Ordering in Cedar Rapids will get you Little Brownie Bakers cookies, whereas ordering in Des Moines gets you ABC Bakers.

Wherever you order and whatever kind of cookie you wind up with, one thing is for sure-- They are DELICIOUS! So much so that many people struggle with trying not to eat the whole box! Or maybe that's just me....
