Before They Were Stars: Filmmaker Discovers Early Footage of Katy Perry

Before there was Katy Perry, there was a young Katy Hudson, whose self titled debut hit in 2001, when she was just 17. While the album failed to sell, it did produce 2 radio singles, and took Katy on the road as part of a larger tour, but also on her own solo tour. On one of those, a filmmaker tagged along, and has just rediscovered that footage. Enjoy the innocent beginning of a Christian recording artist who would become, Katy Perry.
