Kernels Ready For Week-Long Homestand
The Cedar Rapids Kernels are prepping for some home cooking, and finally some decent spring temperatures at Veterans Memorial Stadium. So far here in the young season, the Kernels have had to play during some cool, damp and dreary weather. The weather does look a bit more cooperative this week. Take a look at the upcoming schedule...
May 17 - 19th vs. Beloit - 6:35pm each night
May 20 & 21 vs. Quad Cities - 6:35 both nights
May 22 vs. Quad Cities - 2:05
May 23 vs. Quad Cities - 12:05
The Kernels, a Class A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, are currently sitting in 2nd place in the Midwest League Western Division (standings as of 5/16).
The Kernels are coming off of a fantastic 2015 season where they came up just short of the Midwest League championship. Games at Veterans Memorial Stadium are always entertaining... great food, promotions, fireworks and much more! Get your tickets now by clicking here.
To add to the excitement of the new season, the Kernels will host the Midwest League All-Star Game on Tuesday, June 21st!
