UPDATE!!!

Due to the impending winter weather, the seminar has bee postponed. We'll keep you up to date when a new time and date is announced.

Chelsea's Dream Foundation will be holding their 4th annual adoption seminar this weekend in Peosta, Iowa. The seminar will be held at Northeast Iowa Community College on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. If you are thinking of becoming adoptive or foster parents, you are highly encouraged to attend.

Chelsea's Dream Foundation assists families in the adoption process through financial and emotional support. They feel like the annual seminar is a great way to educate families just starting on their adoption journey, and to other members of the community so they can provide love and support. The event is free to attend.

One of this year's featured speakers is Mike Berry. Berry is a renowned speaker and author and he and his wife have been both adoptive and foster parents themselves. I had a chance to talk with Mike about the importance of the seminar and what topics he will be covering.

Once again, the seminar and lectures are all free to attend tomorrow at Northeast Iowa Community College in Peosta. For more information, you can call Heidi Linden Haas at 563-452-3775 or Chuck Bildstein at 319-573-6121.
