Eagerly awaiting warmer weather? Mariah Carey's latest announcement might have you reconsidering the joy of summer months and praying for December's landfall.

The "I Don't" singer, who's got a famously festive penchant for the Christmas season, announced on Twitter this morning that her 24-year-old holiday classic "All I Want for Christmas Is You" is being made into animated movie. Yup, get ready to see those magic reindeer click.

Carey's announcement tweet came coupled with a mini-trailer that noted "Every holiday season, there are traditions we can't live without: The tree, the stockings, the presents and Mariah Carey." Details were scant otherwise, but fans eagerly shared excitement over the movie, which is scheduled to drop during the 2017 holiday season.

"I can't wait! I love this song! It is not the season if I do not hear this! Yay!" one wrote while another noted "I'm gonna go all out and sing at the movie premiere right before it starts at my theater IM GONNA BE SOO EXTRA!"

Carey previously turned the song into a picture book in 2015 that followed a young girl who desperately wanted a dog for Christmas.

"When I wrote 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' it was my dream for it to become a classic Christmas song,” Carey said amid its release. “I am so proud of the song’s impact as it continues to create memories for fans each year.”
