Sometimes, a kind heart and just the right words can result in something pretty amazing. Such is the case for a Facebook post from a Marion woman that has been shared more than 17,500 times, as of this writing.

Katie Hoeppner was on her way back to Marion Saturday when she visited a rest stop. She tells me it was on eastbound I-80 near Ladora, just west of Williamsburg a few miles. When she went into the ladies room she saw something that, as a mother, made her concerned.

She posted this to Facebook at the time:

I know this is a long shot, but please share this-- I stopped at a rest stop on Iowa Interstate 80 Eastbound and found this little guy in the bathroom wondering where his family went. As a mom, I know exactly what it's like to have a child who's frantic when they lose their Stuffy. I decided to rescue him and bring him home until we can find his owner. I don't know his name, so I named him George. "George" was my co-pilot home, wore his seat belt without a fuss, picked the music on the radio, and ran some errands with my family. I'm adding pictures to show George's endeavors and captions to go along with it.
Please help me get "George" back to his family!!! He is currently on his way to my home, but I'm happy to mail him wherever he needs to go.

It wasn't just what she said above, but the other photos she posted, and the captions with them... 'George,' as they call him, was having a ball and the photo captions made everyone smile...

Clearly, 'George' is being very well cared for, but wouldn't it be great if we could help find his real home. Please share this story and maybe we can do just that.
