Last month, there were rumblings that not all was quiet on The House set thanks to a certain Diva. Rob Huebel spilled the beans in May that co-star Mariah Carey was causing trouble with unnecessary demands, extreme tardiness, and even messing with the script. Now, one of the movie's main stars alongside Amy Poehler, Will Ferrell, confirms Huebel's claims.

“She eventually did show up," Ferrell said. "There were suggestions that were not executed. She was on our set and yeah, things happened, and didn’t happen. She did not make the final cut.”

On an appearance (June 20) on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Ferrell said that Carey has been totally cut from The House -- although there's a chance her scenes may appear in bonus DVD footage.

He added, “Let’s put it this way, at about midnight I got a knock on my trailer and they said, ‘You can just go home, we’re not going to get to you.'"

Huebel's account of his experience with Carey cites the pop star's over-the-top demands and attempts to improv parts of the script as evidence for her lack of cooperation. He had said, “So then they were going to do this bit where they shoot her, I think, and they kill her — in the movie,” Huebel explains, “Not in real life. But she didn’t want that. She was like, ‘I don’t think my character would get killed by bullets. What if I deflected them like Wonder Woman?’ They were like, ‘Mariah, we don’t have time for [this]. You’re getting paid so much money. We have you for one day. We don’t have time to argue with you. Just do it.’ She just didn’t want to do what they wanted her to do. Anyway, why am I talking trash about her?”

All in all, Huebel said of Carey's behavior on The House, due out June 30, "It did not go well. F—ing what is going on with her? It was bananas.”
