The mother of a 16-year old facing murder charges has now also been charged.

March 20, 16-year-old Kenyauta Keith was charged with 1st Degree Murder and Attempted Murder, Willful Injury, and Intimidation with a Weapon in the death of 21-year-old Brandon Fitzgerald Johnson, 21, on March 19th. 16-year-old Deaveon Gaulden was also seriously injured in the shooting in the 1100 block of Maplewood Dr. NE that followed a fight involving a number of individuals. Today, Keith's mother, Saresa, was also arrested.

Saresa Keith is being held at the Linn County Jail on charges of Child Endangerment, Carrying Weapons, and Assault While Using or Displaying a Weapon.
