If you were at the TaxSlayer Center in Moline November 10th to see Elton John, you know how good it was. It was, believe it or not, my first time seeing him and I was blown away. If you have had the chance to see him more than once, lucky you.

The singer, who will perform at this Sunday night's Grammy Awards, has announced that he is set to retire from touring. His "priorities have changed" said the singer, indicating wanting to give more attention to his family and personal life. He has denied rumors of health issues. But his farewell is going to be a long one, a 3-year, 300-date farewell tour.

Will he come close to our area again? We can only hope. Until then, best wishes and thanks for the memories to Sir Elton John.
