#MyIowa – Working Together in Cedar Rapids

We all love this state, bleeding our Black and Gold, and celebrating everything that makes this state awesome.  That's exactly what our #MyIowa Photo Submission is all about. It's not a contest, but a way to brag about the wonders of our state.  So as you're out and about, when you see something that screams "IOWA" to you, snap the photo and upload it to KDAT.com, or tag @1045KDAT on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #MyIowa.

That's exactly what Joe did on our Twitter page.  He was spending a Sunday with the family raking leaves, when the Cedar Rapids leaf vacuum truck appeared....on a Sunday. When there's a job to do, it's great to know it's getting done.  And as he titled it, it's a fun additive that in a sense, everyone was "working together".  We agree, that's a great definition of #MyIowa.
