As the search for missing University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts continues, new details in the investigation into her disappearance have emerged.

According to KCCI TV, Mollie's older brother, Jake Tibbetts, says that investigators told him that it appears Mollie did return from her run on the night she disappeared and was doing homework at her computer on July 18th. Authorities did not give a specific time citing the ongoing investigation.

The 20-year-old Tibbetts was last seen on the 18th jogging in her hometown of Brooklyn. She was dog sitting at her boyfriend's house. It is unclear when she returned there after her jog. Authorities say her boyfriend received a Snapchat from Mollie at around 10 p.m. that night that looked to be taken indoors. She did not show up for work the next day.

Anyone with information in the case is urged to call the Poweshiek County Sheriff's Department.
